Merry Christmas!

Well Digiland, I've got a little freebie for you today. It's a set of 4 Word Arts. They're in a single .png file, so you just use your marquee tool and copy/paste the one you want onto your LO. And "Jingle all the way" and "Oh what fun" are about 6 inches long, if that gives you an idea of size. For the preview, I duplicated the WA layer; set the top to COLOR and the bottom to Overlay. Then, I duplicated the Overlay layer and set that to Soft Light at 60%. Just thought I should tell you so you knew why the paper was "showing through" the M and B in the Merry and Bright WA lol. I like that look a lot. :)

We opened presents tonight (Christmas Eve) while Skype-ing with my parents and brother so they could see us open their gifts. As we said goodbye, my daughter waved and said "Bye bye, Papa, bye Grammy. I love you!" and blew them each kisses. My mom burst into tears. This is our first Christmas away from them, and she found out last week that her mother, my grandma, has terminal cancer. I know it's been a tough time for her, and I just wish I could have reached through my computer and hugged her. I keep debating if I should just fly back to MI so I can be with my family now.

Anyway, sorry to be such a Debbie Downer! No matter your religion, just remember to count all your blessings and to hope that this-coming year brings joy to those you know, and also to those you don't.

ES End of year clearance!

OMG, have to show you these LOs!

And guess what? This was my one hundredth post. Yowsa! I must talk a lot lol. I've got a few things in the works right now, including some CU overlays and doodles. I worked on them a bit tonight, but wasn't able to finish them. I have a good reason, though: my 2 year old daughter loved watching me work with my tablet, so I let her "draw" with it. She kept "dipping" the pen back into its holder, as if it were an ink well. TOTALLY CUUUUTE! And she just bent her head down right over the tablet and told me what she was drawing. She was so intent on looking at the tablet, I kept having to remind her "But you won't 'see' what you're drawing on there. You have to look at Mommy's computer screen." LOL!

I've been a busy little elf lol. :) Here's another kit, Holiday Lights. It's full size and as always S4O/S4H OK! :)



Bright and cheery, with a twist on the traditional red and green Christmas, Holiday Lights is perfect for scrapping your holiday photographs or making your holiday (or someone else's--kit is S4H ok!) greeting cards. 23 papers and 53 elements are just waiting to be "unwrapped"!
