Check out ScrapStreet blog for photo-less LO ideas!

Hello scrappers!

So...our house's drain pipe busted. According to one of the THREE plumbers who've worked on the drain, it's probably been cracked since last summer.

Seriously? Last summer? And only now is it becoming apparent? *sigh* I'm kind of freaking out.

Anyway, I'm kind of cranky about the 4-foot-high piles of mud in my backyard and on my sidewalk. They've dug a C-shaped hole from one side of our garage to under the kitchen sink. The had to dig in between the wall and the sidewalk, where we had a pretty little bed with rosemary and some native flowering bushes. Some of those are gone.

But on the bright side, if you liked mud, gray water, and enclosed spaces, you could literally crawl UNDER our house. My worry is the Child will figure this out! We've kept her away from the holes (and their resulting mountains of mud) but it hasn't been easy. It was 71 degrees here today; she wanted to play outside and who can blame her?! But I kept her entertained by going to the library.

Speaking of books, I've got a fun little blog post over at ScrapStreet about photo-less layouts. Check it out here.

Oh, but before you head there, don't forget that I've got a Publication Call for work-related layouts! Get those in ASAP!

Signing off from Mudville,
Sara
