Maybe you have already heard of Color Palatte FX, but I just did...and I love it! Their website says
"Color Palette FX is a color tool for print and web design that creates color palettes from photos." Once you've made your palette, you can click on any color and the generator will tell you its hex, rgb, and hsv values. Oh, and it'll give you the color's name. :) Cool, huh?
Here's an example using a photo of my daughter:
Isn't that fun?! (BTW: The far-left color's name is Cosmic. Teehee!)
Now, a few days ago I posted about the drain pipe bursting. I didn't post pics because, well...because I was so frustrated I just couldn't look at them!
But I've settled down a bit, and am now ready to share the messiness with you...
This first photo shows the craziness from a distance. They dug from one the side of the garage to the back of the house. And the pile in the back of the house? I took this pic at the START of the digging...so this is its "baby stage" size lol/col.
The last photo shows the giant mud pile; it was about 8 feet long and 3 feet high. The gate to our backyard is the part of the fence with the "X" brace. The hole extended from the wall until almost to the orange bucket. Real safe if you want to enter our backyard!
I couldn't run water for almost a week. It's amazing how often you turn on the faucet without thinking: The Child was playing with markers and wanted me to clean off her hands. Sure! Let's run them under water--oh, no, can't do that.
Let's have Mac N Cheese for lunch! Oh, no, can't get a pot of water to boil, and certainly can't drain the pasta in the sink! (Yes, I realize I could have brought the strainer outside and drained it into the grass or something, but somehow that seemed wrong lol.)
OK, I'm done complaining. They think everything's fixed. The holes haven't filled with water yet, and we ran the dishwasher twice and I did three loads of laundry, so I think we're set. YEA!
This week was stressful for a few different reasons (one of them definitely being the drain issue), so I haven't had a ton of time to scrap or design. So hopefully The Child naps today and I can get my scrap on! :)
Cheers,
Sara

Glad it's fixed! We had to replace our sink and the new faucet didn't come for a week. I could run water elsewhere but it was weird not being to do dishes or cook with water from the kitchen. We ate out a few times that week!
